Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Best Ending Guide

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 concludes with Henry engaging in a heartfelt conversation with his parents, reflecting on his journey. To secure the best possible ending, you'll want to ensure that Henry's parents are proud of the person he has become. This outcome is influenced by several key decisions throughout the main storyline.

The primary flags for achieving the best ending are as follows:

  • You sided with Semine during Necessary Evil.
  • You rejected the Dry Devil’s plan at Maleshov Fortress.
  • You didn’t kill Markvart von Aulitz, or you gave him a dignified death.
  • You spared Vauquelin Brabant.
  • You tried to be a law-abiding citizen and didn’t commit too many crimes.
  • You showed remorse for your mistakes.

While the last two criteria can be somewhat subjective, let's delve into each decision in greater detail.

Semine vs. Hashek

During the quest Necessary Evil, you are faced with choosing between Semine and Hashek. To achieve the best ending, align yourself with Semine and confront Hashek. Although Semine will lose his estate, he will at least have the opportunity to escape.

The Dry Devil’s Plan

In the quest Dancing With the Devil, Jan Zizka assigns you to attack Maleshov Fortress. For the best ending, you must reject the Dry Devil's plan. This decision leads to a duel with the Dry Devil and makes the quest more challenging, but it ensures you avoid harming innocents.

During the quest titled Reckoning, you encounter Markvart von Aulitz. You have the option to either kill him or let him die on his own. For the best ending, allow him to die naturally. Alternatively, you can offer him a dignified death by assisting him to stand before delivering a merciful end, thus easing his suffering.

Spare Brabant

In the same mission, you will find Vauquelin Brabant in the village, where he is torturing Samuel. After defeating him, choose to spare his life to secure the best ending. This decision will prompt him to alert the guards, making the mission more difficult but aligning with the path to the best outcome.

Show Remorse

If you've engaged in criminal behavior, you can still redeem yourself by expressing remorse. During your conversation with Henry’s parents, select the dialogue option "I’m sorry" to steer towards the best ending.
