InZOI Removes Explicit Content

The lead developers of the upcoming life simulation game responded to fan questions. Interestingly, when asked about including sexual intercourse, the assistant director gave such a vague response—without mentioning the word "sex"—that players were left unsure of what to expect.
Essentially, the explanation came down to this: the activity may occur in some form, and if, for instance, a male and female ZOI go to bed together, their intent to have children is clear. However, how explicitly this is portrayed visually is largely left to the player's imagination.
Perhaps that's what's happening, just not at the level everyone was anticipating.
As a result, it remains unclear whether intimate interactions in inZOI will be censored similarly to The Sims series or if an entirely new approach will be used.
The developers also explained why ZOIs wear towels in the shower instead of using pixelated censorship. First, pixelation works better with cartoonish art styles, whereas with a realistic aesthetic, it can ironically make scenes feel more suggestive. Second, a technical issue arose: when a nude ZOI with pixel censorship approached a mirror, the blur effect did not appear in the reflection.
In fact, any lingering questions can be answered by checking the official age ratings already assigned to the game by relevant organizations: ESRB rated it T for Teen, and a PEGI 12 rating is expected. These are the same ratings applied to The Sims 4.
