Anuttacon’s AI-Driven Sci-Fi Game Revealed
In a galaxy not so far away, a new game is on the rise. Anuttacon introduces Whispers From The Star, a unique, AI-driven sci-fi interactive experience. The game was revealed alongside a tweet from HoYoverse last week, announcing an upcoming Closed-Beta Test.
In Whispers From The Star, players step into the shoes of a guide for Stella, a university student studying astrophysics who crash-lands on the alien planet Gaia. Isolated and with only her communicator for contact, Stella reaches out to players through text, voice, and video messages. Your role? To navigate her through her challenges using these communication methods.

The core gameplay of Whispers From The Star revolves around engaging in conversations with Stella, breaking away from traditional dialogue trees. As per the developers, via Bleeding Cool News, the game reimagines interactive storytelling by using AI-enhanced dialogue to foster open-ended, fluid, personal, and immersive conversations.
While the potential for personalized gameplay has many fans excited, the use of AI-driven interactions has also raised concerns. Discussions on platforms like Reddit have highlighted worries about the emotional impact of AI relationships and the potential displacement of human actors, a topic especially sensitive during the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike focused on AI's role in the industry.
Despite these concerns, Anuttacon is moving forward with a Closed Beta for Whispers From The Star. The test is set to be exclusive to select gamers in the United States, with an exact date and time yet to be determined. Interested players can sign up on Anuttacon's website to secure their spot. It's important to note that the beta test is only available for users with an "iPhone 12 or above," and currently does not support Android devices or iPads.
