HoYoverse has unveiled the details for Honkai: Star Rail's upcoming Version 2.4 update, launching July 31st and titled "Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue." This update is jam-packed with new content, so let's explore what awaits.

New Locations and Characters in Honkai: Star Rail 2.4

The Astral Express journeys to a new area: The Shackling Prison within Xianzhou Luofu. Players will also gain access to Xueyi and Hanya's workplaces.

Two new 5-star characters join the roster: Yunli (Destruction) and Jiaoqiu (Nihility). Popular characters Sparkle and Huohuo also return.

Character release is split into two phases:

• Phase 1 (July 31st): Yunli, Huohuo, Lynx, Yukong, and Hanya.
• Phase 2 (August 21st): Jiaoqiu, Sparkle, Arlan, Guinaifen, and Hook.

Two new 5-star Light Cones debut: Yunli's signature Light Cone, "Dance at Sunset," arrives in Phase 1, while Jiaoqiu's signature, "Those Many Springs," launches in Phase 2. Huohuo's "Night of Fright" and Sparkle's "Earthly Escapade" Light Cones also make a comeback.

Abundant Events and Features!

Version 2.4 includes a new Trailblaze Continuance Mission, exploring The Shackling Prison in Xianzhou Luofu, and Yunli's Companion Mission. A special login event, "Gift of Odyssey," awards 10 Special Star Rail Passes.

The "Saga of Primaveral Blade" event lets you train March 7th with Yanqing and Yunli for a duel against the IPC's Scott. Rewards include Stellar Jade, Self-Modeling Resin, a new chat box style, Tracks of Destiny, and March 7th's Eidolon.

Further events like "Garden of Plenty" and "Planar Fissure" offer increased Golden and Crimson Calyx and Planar Ornament drops.
