Microsoft is set to bring Rockstar Games' iconic Grand Theft Auto 5 to Xbox Game Pass and the enhanced version of GTA 5 to Game Pass for PC on April 15. This exciting news was shared in an Xbox Wire post, highlighting the major addition to the Wave 1 April 2025 lineup. This is particularly thrilling for PC gamers, as the PC Game Pass version will include the newly released Enhanced update from early March.

The update, titled Oscar Guzman Flies Again, introduces new content accessible across all platforms. Players can now take control of the McKenzie Field Hanger in Grapeseed, participate in arms trafficking missions, and fly new aircraft, adding fresh excitement to the game.

The return of GTA 5 to Game Pass after its previous removal is a significant event, especially since this marks its debut on PC Game Pass. However, not all fans are rejoicing; the recent launch of GTA 5 Enhanced on PC on March 4 brought new vehicles, performance enhancements at Hao’s Special Works, animal encounters, and visual improvements. Yet, it also led to GTA 5 becoming Rockstar’s worst-reviewed title on Steam due to persistent account migration issues affecting GTA Online players.

Newcomers to Los Santos should enjoy the game without issues, but those eager to transfer their GTA Online accounts to the Enhanced version may face challenges, as the migration problems remain unresolved.
