Path of Exile 2's Hidden Golden Idols: A Guide to Finding and Selling Them

Path of Exile 2 features many quests, some less obvious than others. Act 3 introduces a unique collectible: Golden Idols. These are marked as quest items, but unlike typical quest items, they don't appear in your quest log and aren't traded for traditional quest rewards. Instead, these valuable items can be sold for a significant gold payout. There are five to find in total.

Where to Find the Golden Idols in PoE 2

After completing the initial Act 3 sequence and exploring the ruins beneath the Ziggurat Encampment, you'll be transported to the past via a portal, entering the once-magnificent Vaal city of Utzaal (known as The Drowned City in the present). Explore Utzaal and the connected area of Aggorat to uncover these idols. They are not dropped by enemies but found in the environment, often in side rooms.

Selling Your Golden Idols

Once collected, return to the Ziggurat Encampment and locate Oswald in the northern part of the area. He's the only vendor who will purchase these idols. Their individual values are:

• Golden Idol: 500 Gold
• Grand Idol: 1000 Gold
• Glorious Idol: 1500 Gold
• Elegant Idol: 1000 Gold
• Exceptional Idol: 1500 Gold

Collecting all five yields a substantial 6000 Gold reward. Since they occupy inventory space, it's recommended to sell them immediately after discovery.
