GAMM Is the Biggest Game Museum in Italy Where You Can Share Pieces of Game History
Rome's newest attraction: GAMM, the Game Museum! Now open to the public in Piazza della Repubblica, this expansive museum is the creation of Marco Accordi Rickards, a writer, journalist, professor, and CEO of Vigamus.
Rickards' passion for preserving video game history shines through in GAMM, which he describes as a journey blending history, technology, and interactive gameplay. Built upon the legacy of Vigamus (another successful Rome gaming museum with over two million visitors since 2012), GAMM offers a significantly enhanced experience.
This impressive 700-square-meter museum, spread across two floors, is organized into three distinct thematic areas:

GAMMDOME: A dynamic digital playground featuring interactive exhibits alongside authentic gaming artifacts, including consoles and donated items. The experience is built around the 4 E Concept: Experience, Exhibition, Education, and Entertainment.

PARC (Path of Arcadia): Step back in time to the golden age of arcade games! Relive the classics from the late 70s, 80s, and early 90s.

HIP (Historical Playground): Delve into the mechanics of game design. This area offers a unique behind-the-scenes look at game development, exploring gameplay structures, interaction mechanics, and design principles.
