Can Fuecoco Be Shiny in Pokemon GO?

Absolutely, Fuecoco can appear in its Shiny form in Pokemon GO. During the Community Day, the odds of encountering a Shiny Fuecoco increase dramatically to 1 in 25, compared to the usual 1 in 512 for standard encounters. This boost makes Community Days the prime time to hunt for these rare, colorful variants. While it's not guaranteed with every encounter, with enough persistence over the three-hour event, you're likely to spot a Shiny Fuecoco.

Fuecoco’s Evolutions in Pokemon GO

Fuecoco evolves into Crocalor with 25 Candies, and then into Skeledirge with an additional 100 Candies. Both evolutions are already in the game, but the Community Day offers a special chance to get a Skeledirge with an exclusive move.

Skeledirge Featured Attack

Evolve Fuecoco into Crocalor during the Community Day on March 8, or up to a week afterward, and you'll be able to evolve it further into Skeledirge with the Charged Attack, Blast Burn. This powerful move is not typically available in Skeledirge's regular moveset.

Torch Song Update

Additionally, Skeledirge will be able to learn Torch Song, a Charged Attack that not only inflicts damage but also boosts its Attack stat by one stage in battles, available during and after the Community Day.

Community Day Event Bonuses

During the Fuecoco Community Day, and until 10:00 PM on March 8, you'll benefit from the following bonuses:

• 300% more Stardust from catching Pokemon
• Double the Candy from catches
• Double the chance for Trainers Level 31 and above to receive XL Candy from catches
• Lure Modules and Incenses will last for three hours
• A surprise when you take snapshots
• Two Special Trades per day instead of one
• 50% less Stardust required for trades

Tips for the Fuecoco Community Day in Pokemon Go

To maximize your gains during the Fuecoco Community Day, stock up on Pinap Berries. These will double the Candy you get from each Fuecoco catch, boosting your haul from six to twelve Candies per catch, thanks to the event's double Candy bonus.
