Fans think they've uncovered the location for Forza Horizon 6, thanks to a teasing social media post from a car import company linked to the game.

In a since-deleted Instagram post, vehicle import company Cult and Classic shared a photo that supposedly shows a Forza Horizon team member digitally scanning a car made by Japanese manufacturer Kei for the next game in the series.

The post added that the staff member traveled to its facility in Australia to scan several Kei models, which are rarely seen outside Japan. This detail—along with the post's later removal—has led fans to speculate that Japan will be the setting of Forza Horizon 6.

"Exciting news!" the post stated. "We have Cody here from @forzahorizonofficial, capturing cars for the next installment of the series. Since there are no recent Kei car models in the U.S., he flew from the States to use our vehicles as references for their digital versions.

"We're big gamers here at Cult and Classic, and it's an honor to support Forza and help make Kei cars accessible virtually for those who can't own them in real life."

Japan has been one of the most requested locations for Forza Horizon 6, following previous games set in Australia, Mexico, and the UK. Xbox head Phil Spencer recently confirmed the next Forza game will launch in 2026, which is widely expected to be a new Forza Horizon title.

As for the original Forza Motorsport series, Microsoft's recent staff cuts in July significantly impacted developer Turn 10 Studios. A former employee mentioned that the Forza Motorsport team was "no more," although some staff remain to assist with Forza Horizon development.
