Fortnite Adds Darth Jar Jar, Star Wars Battle Pass in Galactic Season

Fortnite is set to immerse players in the Star Wars universe like never before with its upcoming season, Galactic Battle, launching on May 2, 2025. This exciting season will feature a Star Wars-themed Battle Pass and a captivating five-part saga filled with thrilling surprises. One of the most astonishing announcements from Star Wars Celebration is the introduction of Darth Jar Jar to the Battle Royale mode, adding a unique twist to the gameplay.
The excitement doesn't stop there; Fortnite players will soon wield Force Lightning as a new in-game ability, enhancing the immersive Star Wars experience. The official announcement from Star Wars' X account teased the upcoming features:

The Battle Pass will include iconic characters like Emperor Palpatine and intriguing mashups such as the Wookiee Cuddle Team Leader. Additionally, the Item Shop will introduce Mace Windu, and players will have the chance to pilot and co-pilot X-Wings and TIE Fighters across themed map locations.
The Galactic Battle saga will unfold over five weeks, each with its own unique theme:
- Imperial Takeover – May 2, 2025
- The Pull of the Force – May 8, 2025
- Mandalorian Rising – May 22, 2025
- Star Destroyer Bombardment – May 29, 2025
- Death Star Sabotage – June 7, 2025
This saga will culminate in an in-game narrative live event, promising players an experience where they'll feel like they're holding the fate of the entire galaxy in their hands.
