Marvel Contest of Champions Adds Fantastic Four: First Steps

Kabam has launched a major new update for Marvel Contest of Champions, introducing The Fantastic Four to align with the upcoming MCU film, First Steps. A new trailer has been released alongside confirmation of two major additions arriving on June 4.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps update also kicks off the Fantastic FORCE Saga in Marvel Contest of Champions. Players can hunt for collectible Research Grants scattered throughout different game modes. These can later be exchanged for a 7-Star Mister Fantastic.

A Full Slate of Events Is Coming

The Vaults of Variant side quest begins on June 11 and continues through July 9. It delves into Reed Richards' experiments with multiverse magic—experiments that risk spiraling out of control. Players must assist Reed as his scientific curiosity threatens to unleash unstable, possibly dangerous, multiversal duplicates.

Additional updates include a reworked Captain Britain, who is getting both gameplay refinements and a visual overhaul. The updated version will be available as a 7-Star Champion starting June 4.

For Marvel Studios' Ironheart, Kabam is offering a 7-Day Hall of Irons Login Calendar running from June 10 to August 1. Daily rewards and special offers will launch on June 24, timed with the series premiere.

June Brings Marvel’s PRIDE Celebration

This month welcomes two Champions from The Runaways—Nico Minoru and Karolina Dean. As part of the game’s Pride Month celebrations, Nico arrives on June 12, followed by Karolina on June 26.

From June 1 through June 30, players can participate in the Runaway Ready solo event. Earn milestone rewards and Pride-themed profile pictures by playing and winning battles in any game mode except practice. Download the game now from the Google Play Store if you haven’t already.
