Marvel Studios has unveiled the first teaser for its highly anticipated film The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

A brief clip titled 'PREPARE 4️⃣ LAUNCH' captures children running excitedly toward a shop window where crowds gather around vintage televisions. The screens display a rocket launch, the Fantastic Four suiting up in space gear, and the message 'Prepare 4 Launch.' While two screens remain partially obscured, the retro-futuristic 1960s aesthetic confirms the film's period setting.

Marvel's 'launch coverage' begins February 4 at 7AM ET (4AM PT), with the trailer description hinting at "a fantastic new era" for Marvel's First Family.

Scheduled for release July 25, 2025, the MCU installment features Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing. Ralph Ineson portrays Galactus alongside Julia Garner as Silver Surfer, with supporting roles from Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, Natasha Lyonne and Sarah Niles. Matt Shakman directs under producer Kevin Feige.

Set against a retro-futuristic 1960s backdrop, Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel's First Family as they balance heroic duties with familial bonds. When Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his Herald Silver Surfer (Julia Garner) threaten Earth, the team faces their greatest challenge yet - one that becomes shockingly personal.

NYCC 2023 revealed concept art featuring key MCU characters, including the first live-action depiction of H.E.R.B.I.E. (Humanoid Experimental Robot B-Type Integrated Electronics). Rumors suggest Robert Downey Jr. may appear as Doctor Doom, with Feige confirming the Fantastic Four will return in both Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
