After nearly three decades since its initial cinematic release, Paul W.S. Anderson's cult classic, *Event Horizon*, is set to expand its universe with a thrilling prequel. IDW Publishing has announced *Event Horizon: Dark Descent*, a gripping five-issue comic book series that delves into the harrowing events preceding the film, uncovering the mysterious fate of the original crew of the Event Horizon ship.

Penned by the acclaimed Christian Ward, known for his work on *Batman: City of Madness*, and illustrated by Tristan Jones of *Aliens: Defiance* fame, *Dark Descent* promises a visually stunning and narratively intense experience.
