‘Dungeons of Dreadrock 2’ Announced, Launching on Nintendo Switch in November with Mobile and PC Versions to Follow
Approximately two and a half years ago, we enjoyed the excellent dungeon crawler Dungeons of Dreadrock, developed by Christoph Minnameier. Inspired by classics like Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder, it offered a top-down perspective and a strong emphasis on puzzle-solving across its 100 unique levels. Each floor presented a new challenge, often requiring strategic thinking to navigate traps and enemies. Our review praised its difficulty and inventive level design, and the game subsequently achieved widespread success across numerous platforms. Now, we eagerly anticipate its sequel: Dungeons of Dreadrock 2 – The Dead King’s Secret.
The striking red background and prominent Nintendo Switch logo, accompanied by the familiar sound effect, confirm that Dungeons of Dreadrock 2 will debut on the Nintendo Switch eShop on November 28th. However, PC gamers can rejoice! A PC version is in development and available to wishlist on Steam. Mobile players on iOS and Android can also look forward to the game's release, though specific dates remain unannounced. We'll keep you updated on release information for other platforms as it becomes available.
