Dhelmise’s Weaknesses & Resistances

Dhelmise is a Grass- and Ghost-type in Pokemon GO, making it vulnerable to Fire-, Dark-, Ice-, Ghost-, and Flying-type attacks. These moves will deal 160% super-effective damage to Dhelmise. Conversely, it is resistant to Grass-, Water-, Electric-, and Ground-type moves by 63%, and to Fighting and Normal-type moves by 39%.

Can Dhelmise Be Shiny?

Unfortunately, Dhelmise cannot be Shiny in Pokemon GO at this time. This means you won't encounter a Shiny version after defeating it in a 3-Star Raid. Typically, new Pokemon added to the game do not have their Shiny forms available immediately. Look out for a future event, such as a dedicated Community Day, for the chance to catch a Shiny Dhelmise.

Beloved Buddies Bonuses In Pokemon GO

Shiny encounters with raid bosses have improved odds compared to regular encounters. For instance, the odds of encountering a Shiny Mega Raid boss like Mega Tyranitar are 1 in 128, while Legendary raids offer a 1 in 20 chance. However, since Incarnate Enamorus cannot be Shiny during this event, these odds won't apply.

Field Research Tasks

The Beloved Buddies event will feature limited-time Field Research tasks. These tasks might involve catching event-themed Pokemon in exchange for rewards such as Stardust and encounters with Tandemaus. Specific tasks will be updated once they are announced.
