Clash Royale players finally witness the long-anticipated Evolution of the Inferno Dragon. The fiery Legendary card receives its first major upgrade since its introduction nearly a decade ago. Developers at Supercell marked the occasion with a special collaboration featuring Finnish comedy star Ismo Leikola.
A Dramatic Showdown!
In a fresh Clash Royale cinematic, the Inferno Dragon takes center stage after its nine-year absence from the evolution spotlight. Leikola delivers a hilarious performance as the dragon's eccentric talent agent, determined to negotiate better contracts for his client.
The trailer humorously depicts the Inferno Dragon abandoning its battlefield duties to pursue fame in Hollywood.
The full negotiation spectacle unfolds at Supercell's headquarters in a must-watch promotional video.
The evolved Inferno Dragon introduces game-changing mechanics. Unlike its predecessor that reset damage when switching targets, the upgraded version maintains cumulative damage for devastating effects.
New Season Ignites With Inferno Dragon Evolution
Celebrating this content update named "How to Evolve Your Dragon!", Clash Royale brings back fan-favorite 2v2 League battles where players can team up with friends or random allies to climb the ranks.
Milestone Rewards available from Arena 7 include valuable prizes like Lumberjack Evolution Shards, Epic Card Books, and special Cosmetics.
The season features multiple reward tracks: Crown Chase #1 presents a decorated Battle Banner plus an Epic Book, while Crown Chase #2 offers another Banner design and Evolution Shards.
Multiple limited-time events showcase the new Evolution mechanics:
- June 2-9: Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft
- June 6-9: Inferno Dragon Challenge (Banner + Emote rewards)
- June 9-16: Evolution Mayhem (up to 4 Evolved Cards)
- June 16-23: Magical Trio
- June 23-30: 4 Card Showdown
- June 30-July 7: Evolution Bonanza (up to 8 Evolved Cards)
