Corden indicated the game's development is further along than publicly perceived, though he offered no specifics. This news might disappoint fans, but it's a more positive timeline than previous speculation pointing towards a 2027 release.
June's trailer showcased intense zombie gunfights and Mad Max-style vehicular combat in a post-apocalyptic setting. The narrative unfolds years after the apocalypse, focusing on human settlements battling the undead.
State of Decay 3 is slated for PC and Xbox Series X|S. The last installment in the series launched in 2018.
