DC's All-Star Superman Now an Audiobook with Full Cast

All-Star Superman, widely acclaimed as one of the greatest Superman comics ever, including on IGN's Top 25 list, is set to captivate fans in a new way. DC and Penguin Random House are collaborating to bring this iconic story to life as a full-cast audiobook.

The adaptation, penned by Meghan Fitzmartin, draws from the original work by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely. Frank Quitely has even contributed a fresh illustration for the audiobook's cover, which is displayed below:

All-Star Superman is a standalone narrative set in a universe where Superman faces his mortality after an incident involving the sun. The storyline follows Kal-El as he discloses his identity to Lois Lane, embarks on a series of heroic tasks reminiscent of the 12 Labors of Hercules, and ultimately confronts his nemesis, Lex Luthor, one last time.

The All-Star Superman audiobook is scheduled for release on June 24, 2025, just one month before the theatrical debut of James Gunn's Superman film.

Notably, All-Star Superman was previously adapted into an animated movie in 2011.
