Crashlands 2 Update 1.1 Restores Compendium

Crashlands 2 enthusiasts have a reason to celebrate today as Butterscotch Shenanigans released a significant update, version 1.1. This update introduces a variety of features and improvements that many fans of the original Crashlands have been eagerly awaiting.

What’s in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?

The highlight of this update is the introduction of Legend Mode, offering an even higher difficulty level than the existing Challenge Mode. On the planet Woanope, enemies are now faster, deal more damage, and boast increased health points, making for a more intense gameplay experience. Meanwhile, Flux Dabes has become more vulnerable, adding a new layer of strategy to your adventures.

While there are no additional achievements for conquering Legend Mode, completing it will automatically unlock all achievements from lower difficulty levels, serving as a rewarding incentive for players.

For those who prefer a more relaxed gameplay experience, the new Explorer Mode caters to players interested in farming mushrooms, building cozy homes, and fishing without the constant threat of danger. This mode significantly reduces combat intensity, allowing you to immerse yourself in the game's rich story, decorate your base, and enjoy interactions with the game's eclectic cast of characters.

One of the most requested features, The Compendium, makes its return in this update. The Compendium meticulously tracks all of Flux's discoveries, including the number of pets, recipes, and items still needed to achieve your goals, reflecting Butterscotch Shenanigans' responsiveness to community feedback.

Pets also got a bit of an upgrade

With Crashlands 2 Update 1.1, pets have been enhanced to assist during combat situations. Each pet now comes equipped with a unique special ability that can be activated every 20 seconds, adding depth and excitement to your battles.

Gear crafting has also seen an overhaul, with new random bonus stats being applied to armor upon creation. This update also introduces an array of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets, providing more variety and options for players to customize their gameplay.

Quality of life improvements are another major focus of Update 1.1. Players can now build on a wider variety of terrains, customize the location of their home teleporter, and adjust the darkness levels at night, enhancing the overall gaming experience.

Crashlands 2 is available for download on the Google Play Store. It's worth noting that the game was initially launched on April 10th, and this patch underscores the developers' commitment to addressing player feedback and continuously improving the game.
