The game's development has reached its final stages, with Firaxis confirming that *Civilization VII* has gone gold, signaling no further delays expected, barring any unforeseen issues. The game will also be available on Steam Deck, ensuring accessibility across all modern platforms.
The excitement doesn't stop at the launch. The first DLC, *Crossroads of the World*, will roll out in two parts in March. In the first stage, players will command Great Britain and Carthage, and meet Ada Lovelace, a computer pioneer and new leader. Three weeks later, the second phase introduces Simon Bolivar as a leader, along with Bulgaria and Nepal as new civilizations.
Looking further ahead, the *Right to Rule* DLC, slated for release between April and September 2025, will bring two more leaders, four new civilizations, and additional natural wonders to the game.
Firaxis is committed to enhancing *Civilization VII* with ongoing updates, including new challenges and events. In March, players can look forward to new in-game events and natural wonders such as the Bermuda Triangle and Everest.
