The timeless classic JRPG, Chrono Trigger, is marking its 30th anniversary since its debut on the Super Famicom in 1995. Square Enix Japan took to their official X (Twitter) account to announce this milestone, describing Chrono Trigger as a "masterpiece that transcends generations." This legendary game was a collaborative effort among industry giants: Yuji Horii, the mastermind behind Dragon Quest; Akira Toriyama, the creative force of Dragon Ball; and Hironobu Sakaguchi, the visionary of Final Fantasy.
In their announcement, Square Enix expressed their gratitude towards the fans and revealed plans for a series of projects over the next year that will extend beyond the game itself. While specifics about these projects remain under wraps, fans are encouraged to stay tuned to the official Square Enix and ChronoTriggerPR X (Twitter) accounts for the latest updates.
Special Music Livestream Featuring Chrono Trigger’s Best
