China has approved the release of the Genshin Impact, GTA and ZZZ hybrid

Project Mugen, now titled Ananta, is nearing its full release after generating significant buzz with its initial promotional materials. The game's design cleverly blends elements reminiscent of popular titles like Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and even GTA, all presented within a captivating anime aesthetic.

Ananta's launch has been greenlit in China, with a projected release date of 2025 across PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile platforms. A December 5th trailer showcased Ananta as an open-world urban RPG where players assume the role of an A.C.D. agent in the sun-kissed coastal city of Nova, a setting ripe with mystery and exploration.

This ambitious undertaking is a collaborative effort between NetEase Studios, Thunder Fire Studio, and Naked Rain. The developers highlight the game's global appeal, attributing it to a unique combination of familiar environments infused with a compelling supernatural element.

Key features of Ananta include four-player team-based battles, a distinctive art style, and swift, fluid movement.
