Gamescom Latam 2024 Crowns "What the Car?" Best Mobile Game

Gamescom Latam, the inaugural gaming event held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, successfully showcased Latin America's burgeoning gaming scene and celebrated global industry achievements. A key highlight was the game awards, presented in partnership with the BIG Festival.

The awards ceremony featured 13 categories, with finalists selected by a panel of 49 judges. All nominees were playable at the Sao Paulo Expo, demonstrating the event's commitment to hands-on engagement. Notably, mobile and PC games were integrated, highlighting the equal importance of both platforms.

The coveted "Best Mobile Game" award went to Triband ApS's "What the Car?", a title previously featured in an article highlighting lesser-known gems. This win underscores the game's quality and growing recognition.
