Avatar's Cabbage Merchant Revives in Realms Collide

The humble cabbage has stormed into battle! Nickelodeon, Tilting Point, and AN Games have introduced the beloved Cabbage Merchant, Cai, as a new playable character in Avatar Legends: Realms Collide. As one of the franchise's most meme-able figures, this limited-time event is the perfect opportunity for newcomers to get acquainted with him.
Who is the Cabbage Merchant, Cai, and Why is He in Avatar Legends: Realms Collide?
A recurring neutral character from the Earth Kingdom, Cai is a businessman perpetually dogged by bad luck, often seeing his cabbage cart destroyed by Team Avatar's antics or other chaotic events.
To mark his arrival in the game, the developers held a special livestream hosted by James Sie, the original voice of the Cabbage Merchant. Sie not only confirmed Cai's playable status but also shared that he personally plays Realms Collide, with Toph as his preferred character.
Check out the official announcement video featuring James Sie below.
The limited-time 'My Cabbages!' event lets you earn the exclusive Great Cabbage Animated Decoration. You can also collect Cai Shards to recruit him and unlock other bonus rewards.
Returning players will automatically receive 10 Cai Shards and a Decoration Building item. New players simply need to complete the tutorial to participate. Once the event concludes, Cai will be permanently added to the Hall of Avatars.
The Cabbage Merchant's debut coincides with the ongoing Dear Fellow Lotus event, running until September 24th. This update introduces new rewards, community highlights, and more challenging Field NPCs with improved loot drops.
Additionally, the Ba Sing Se Arena Championship is now active, offering new gear for players who test their squads in PvP. Alliances can also take on Murong’s Vault, a high-stakes game mode where coordinated teams compete to seize and protect valuable resources.
After years of watching his cabbages fall victim to chaos, Cai has finally channeled his persistence into power. This time, his cart might just make it through unscathed! Download the game from the Google Play Store and join the event.
