May 2025 PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Revealed

Sony has unveiled an exciting lineup of games for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for May 2025, adding a diverse selection of titles that cater to a variety of gaming preferences. This announcement was made through a detailed post on the PlayStation.Blog, highlighting six new games for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers, set to be available starting May 20, 2025.
For those subscribed to the Extra tier, the month brings a total of nine new games to the catalog. The spotlight shines on Sand Land, an action RPG inspired by Akira Toriyama's manga, available on both PS4 and PS5. Other notable additions include Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition and the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy, the latter receiving an enhanced version for PS5, alongside PC and Xbox Series X | S, also launching on May 20. GSC Game World has confirmed that owners of the original console trilogy will receive this Enhanced Edition at no extra cost, though it remains uncertain whether this benefit extends to PlayStation Plus subscribers.
Premium members will enjoy the addition of Battle Engine Aquila, a classic sci-fi action game where players command a versatile war vehicle capable of battling enemies in the air and on the ground. This title is accessible on both PS4 and PS5.
