Game Introduction

Alphabet - Alphabet for Children from 3 to 5 Years Old and Toddlers in Russian: Learning Letters and Sounds

Talking Alphabet for Children and Toddlers is an educational game designed with love, especially for my daughter. It features various modes including letters, sounds, vowels, and consonants, as well as voiced and unvoiced sounds. The game is enhanced with colorful pictures, a user-friendly interface, and professional voice acting by a Russian language teacher!

The alphabet is crucial for young children as it helps them quickly learn letters and sounds, paving the way for early reading skills. Our game offers dual voiceovers: one for sounds and another for letters, all in Russian.

This alphabet game is perfect for young learners, ideally suited for children aged 4 to 6, though exceptionally capable children can start as early as 3, with the optimal age being 5, the year before they begin school.

It’s recommended to introduce children to vowels first: A, O, U, Y, I, E, Yo, E, Yu, Ya (10 in total). These are easier to pronounce, making them ideal for beginners. Initially, focus on 6 vowel sounds: A, O, U, Y, I, E, followed by 4 vowel letters formed by merging two sounds: E = Y + O; E = Y + E; Yu = Y + U; Ya = Y + A. Vowels can be either stressed or unstressed.

Next, move on to consonants: B, V, G, D, Zh, Z, J, K, L, M, N, P, R, S, T, F, X, Ts, Ch, Sh, Shch (21 in total), plus 2 auxiliary letters Ъ and Ь. The Russian alphabet comprises 33 letters in total.

This educational game is completely free and designed to help your child master sounds and letters efficiently. If your child enjoys the game, please leave a review—it's the best way to show your appreciation. Thank you, and best wishes to your family!
