RYFFC is an app where YOU are in Control! It's designed to be a safe and welcoming space where you can freely share your thoughts on the news without fear of public prosecution. RYFFC is revolutionizing the news landscape by democratizing how news is generated, consumed, and engaged with, all while fostering a safe and engaging social environment. This is a NEW WAY to NEWS.

At RYFFC, users are exposed to a wide array of thoughts, articles, and opinions. While our app embraces free speech with no censorship, we ensure it remains a non-triggering experience. We've implemented robust anti-bullying measures and a comprehensive self-moderation system, allowing users to tailor their feed to avoid content they're not ready to see.

Ryff

A key feature of RYFFC is the Ryff. A Ryff is a concise "hot take" from a user about an article, limited to just 88 characters. Fellow Ryffers can riff on articles, pop culture, and news in a way that breaks from traditional comment structures. If a Ryff catches your eye, you can engage with the Ryffer through a Ryff Back. Remember, at RYFFC, we take turns, so choose your words wisely—you can only Ryff on another's Ryff once until they respond.

Self Moderation

RYFFC empowers users to self-select the level of controversy or triggering material they wish to encounter. We offer three levels of moderation:

• G - "General" audience moderation level, ideal for users who prefer mild or non-controversial content.
• M - "Moderate" audience moderation level, suitable for users who are comfortable with mild to moderately controversial content.
• BE - "Bleeding Edge" audience moderation level, designed for users who want to view all available content, including highly controversial material.

Voting

Alongside self-moderation, users can vote on the appropriate moderation level for articles, ensuring content aligns with community standards.

Superboost

Superboost adds an exciting twist to showing appreciation. If you come across a post that resonates with you, you can give it an extra boost to amplify its visibility.

Like/Dislike

The familiar like/dislike feature gets a fresh update at RYFFC. Instead of clicking a thumb, simply swipe left or right on the article to express your opinion.
