Wuthering Waves: Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms Walkthrough

This guide details the "Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms" exploration quest in Honkai: Star Rail's Wuthering Waves expansion. This optional quest is recommended to access a Nightmare Echo. It's a challenging quest requiring strong Resonators.

Quest Walkthrough:

1. Initial Interaction: Begin at the base of the ruins south of Shores of Last Breath. Activate the broken Lumiscale Construct. The quest objectives are:

   • Charge three Discipline Steles.
   • Defeat the Lumiscale Construct (twice).
   • Chase and defeat the Lumiscale Construct.
   • Defeat the Dragon of Dirge.

2. Charging the Steles:

   • Stand on the glowing circles at each marked altar to charge the steles. Enemies will interrupt charging; eliminate them swiftly. Moving too far from the altar will cause energy drain. Utilize elemental advantages introduced in the 2.0 update.
   • The third stele requires repositioning before enemy spawns. Adjust your character and camera angle until a prompt appears to interact with the stele.

3. Chasing and Defeating the Lumiscale Construct:

   • Use your strongest Resonators to defeat the Lumiscale Construct. A cutscene triggers upon reaching a low health threshold. Follow the construct deeper into the ruins. Be wary of environmental hazards (falling debris, lightning) and enemies along the path. A final confrontation with the construct occurs, ending its threat.

4. Defeating the Dragon of Dirge:

   • The Dragon of Dirge is a formidable foe. Avoid its breath attacks and falling star attacks. Prioritize stunning it to minimize damage. Wait for attack openings to counter.

5. Quest Completion: Upon defeating the Dragon of Dirge, the quest concludes. Access to Shores of Last Breath is granted, including Dream Patrols and Nightmare Tempest Mephis.
