World of Warships Legends celebrates the Lunar New Year with new Legend of Wukong event

World of Warships Legends is celebrating the Lunar New Year with a thrilling new event featuring the legendary Sun Wukong! Wargaming's popular naval battle simulator brings the mythical Monkey King and his entourage to the high seas, offering exclusive rewards for iOS and Android players.

Following the success of Sky: Children of the Light's Lunar New Year event, World of Warships Legends joins the festive celebrations. Sun Wukong, the iconic character from Journey to the West, takes center stage. This beloved figure from Asian literature inspires the event's core theme.

This update includes more than just the Sun Wukong event. Players can also participate in a campaign to obtain the French Tier VII Premium battleship Picardie. The Lunar New Year event introduces Wukong as a commander available for all nations, along with his Pan-Asian Tier VII Premium cruiser, and numerous other skins based on characters from Journey to the West.

A Bountiful Celebration

But the festivities don't stop there! World of Warships Legends is bringing back popular Lunar New Year content. The Celestial Guardian commander guise returns, offering daily bonuses. Several Pan-Asian and Japanese ships will sport ornate skins. Keep an eye out for Lunar Year '25 crates in the store and in-game, offering rewards including the exclusive Japanese Tier VI Premium cruiser Tokachi.
