The game features a cast of characters – Rain, Shou, and Tangtang – who claim to be part of the missing YouTuber's crew. The mystery revolves around the legend of the double, or doppelganger, where one individual replaces another without detection.

Urban Legend Hunters 2: Double innovatively integrates FMV footage directly onto real-world environments captured through the player's phone's camera. This AR approach creates a visually unusual, yet creative investigative experience.
