How To Unlock the Fire Seal in Fields of Mistria

Following the March 10th update to *Fields of Mistria*, the Fire Seal is finally accessible after completing the preceding altars. Unlocking it requires four specific offerings: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Let's break down how to obtain each item.

Where to Find the Faceted Rock Gem in *Fields of Mistria*

The Faceted Rock Gem is a rare artifact located within the Fields of Mistria mines. Ensure you're playing the updated game version and explore mine floors 50-59. We discovered it on Floor 56 after some digging. Use your pickaxe or shovel to unearth it from marked ground spots. Be prepared for some grinding; it's a relatively uncommon find.

Where to Find Rockroot in *Fields of Mistria*

Rockroot is a common forageable plant found on mine floors 50-59. If you've spent time mining, you likely already have one. Look for a dark, root-like plant (as pictured). Only one is needed to satisfy the Priestess's altar.

Where to Find Emeralds in *Fields of Mistria*

Emeralds are the easiest offering to acquire. These geode-like items are fairly common on mine floors 50-59. You can also find them by breaking large boulders throughout Mistria, purchase them cheaply (200 tesserae) from Balor’s Wagon, or craft them at the Stone Refinery (unlocked with the March 2025 update).

How to Obtain the Sealing Scroll in *Fields of Mistria*

The Sealing Scroll is obtained through a quest initiated by speaking with Juniper after discovering the Fire Seal. This involves commissioning Balor to acquire the scroll, requiring these materials:

• 10 Silver Ingots
• 10 Rubies
• 10 Sapphires
• 10 Emeralds

You can likely find these in your inventory or gather them from the mines. Deposit the materials in the bin near Balor’s Wagon.

Unlocking the Fire Seal

Once you've gathered the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot, return to Floor 60 of the mines and make your offering. This unlocks the Fire Seal, revealing a new biome and more during Early Access.
