Popular streamer Turner "Tfue" Tenney is demanding Twitch release Dr Disrespect's private messages with an underage user. Dr Disrespect himself confirmed on June 25th that inappropriate conversations with a minor via Twitch Whispers in 2017 led to his 2020 ban.

This controversy ignited after former Twitch employee Cody Conners alleged on June 21st that Dr Disrespect's ban stemmed from "sexting a minor." Following Dr Disrespect's admission of inappropriate conduct, prominent streamers like Nickmercs and TimTheTatman voiced their disapproval and withdrew their support.

Tfue's tweet, "Release the whispers," urging Twitch to publicly reveal the messages, has garnered significant support with over 36,000 likes. Many users agree that Dr Disrespect's actions warrant full transparency.

Tfue, a massively popular streamer with millions of followers across platforms like Kick and YouTube, left Twitch in June 2023 before returning to Kick in November. No stranger to controversy himself (facing criticism for past incidents), Tfue's stance reflects a widespread desire for accountability in this situation.

The fallout from Dr Disrespect's admission has been severe. He's lost fan support, the backing of fellow streamers, and sponsorships with Midnight Society and Turtle Beach have ended. Further brand and celebrity disassociations are anticipated.
