"Tsukuyomi: Divine Hunter - New Roguelike by Shin Megami Tensei Creator"
Introducing Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter, a captivating new roguelike card battler that has just launched globally on Android. Crafted by the renowned Kazuma Kaneko, celebrated for his surreal world-building and iconic demonic designs in the Shin Megami Tensei and Persona series, this game marks a thrilling addition to the genre. Developed by the Japanese game studio COLOPL, Kaneko joined the studio in 2023 to spearhead this project, infusing it with his distinctive style.
Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter Has Trained Personal AI Models
At the heart of Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter is an innovative AI-driven system called the Okami System. Powered by a proprietary model named AI Kaneko, which was personally trained by Kazuma Kaneko, this system introduces an artificial deity known as Okami. As you navigate through the game's dungeons, Okami closely observes your gameplay and decisions. In response, it dynamically generates new cards tailored to your unique playstyle, enhancing the personal touch to your gaming experience.
The setting for this thrilling adventure is The Hashira, a once state-of-the-art high-rise in Tokyo's bayside area, now overrun by monsters and sealed off from the outside world. Your objective is to ascend to the top of The Hashira to confront Noriko Tomi, the president of the construction company responsible for the building. Noriko is the target of Tsukuyomi, an elite national defense unit, due to her sinister plot to overthrow the state using hidden jujutsu traps within the structure.
Grab the Two New Characters
Dive into the game with two intriguing characters: Izayoi Tsukuyomi and Shingetsu Tsukuyomi. Izayoi adopts a traditional approach, enhancing both attack and defense through upgraded cards. Players can encounter Jinma cards like Seiryu, Finn MacCool, Mormo, and Watanabe Tsuna while playing as Izayoi. On the other hand, Shingetsu focuses on chain attacks, enabling more intricate and strategic gameplay. Shingetsu's Jinma cards include Mach, Kirin, Kato Danzou, and Suzuka Gozen. Keep an eye out for future updates, which will introduce two more characters, Mangetsu and Hangetsu, expanding the roster even further.
