Street Fighter 6 meta - which characters are most popular on top level

The Capcom Pro Tour has concluded, revealing the 48 competitors set to clash in Capcom Cup XI. While the world's best players are undoubtedly exciting, let's delve into the character choices that defined the World Warrior circuit.
EventHubs compiled statistics on the most popular Street Fighter 6 characters at the highest level of competition, offering a valuable glimpse into the game's balance. Remarkably, all 24 fighters saw representation among the nearly 200 players analyzed (data encompassing eight regional finalists from 24 regions). However, the data reveals surprising disparities; only one player chose Ryu, and even the newly added Terry Bogard was selected by just two.
Dominating the professional scene are Cammy, Ken, and M. Bison, each championed by 17 players. A significant gap separates this top tier from the next, which includes Akuma (12 players), Ed and Luke (11 each), and JP and Chun-Li (10 each). Among the less frequently chosen characters, Zangief, Guile, and Juri stand out, each selected as a main by seven players.
Capcom Cup XI is set for March in Tokyo, with a million-dollar prize awaiting the victor.
