After two years of trying, streamer finished the impossible FromSoftware challenge

FromSoftware games are notorious for their brutal difficulty. Even prominent streamers like Kai Cenat can attest to this, having perished countless times in Elden Ring alone. This makes the accomplishments of players tackling additional self-imposed challenges all the more remarkable.

Streamer Dinossindgeil has achieved a truly unprecedented feat: He's the first person to complete God Run 3 SL1, a challenge requiring the completion of seven consecutive FromSoftware games without leveling up or taking a single hit. This monumental undertaking spanned nearly two years. His emotional reaction upon defeating Soul of Cinder in Dark Souls III, the final boss, speaks volumes about the intensity and dedication involved.

God Run 3 SL1 is widely considered the most demanding challenge within the FromSoftware community. The rules are unforgiving: seven games, no leveling, zero damage. A single hit, regardless of progress, necessitates restarting the entire run from the beginning.

Dinossindgeil's journey was fraught with setbacks. In the summer of 2024, a bug in Dark Souls II—an arrow clipping through a wall—ended a run that had already conquered Elden Ring and Dark Souls I. The relentless need to start over from scratch underscores the immense perseverance required.

FromSoftware's response to this achievement will undoubtedly be eagerly awaited. However, one thing is undeniable: Dinossindgeil has cemented his place in gaming history.
