Stellar Mercenaries, the Vertical-Scrolling Space Shooter, Drops a New Jupiter Expansion

Get ready to elevate your space combat experience with the Jupiter Expansion for *Stellar Mercenaries*, which nearly doubles the game's content. This vertical-scrolling action arcade space shooter now offers even more thrilling procedurally generated missions, ship and weapon customization, and the chance to become the most feared mercenary in the solar system.
What’s New in the Jupiter Expansion of Stellar Mercenaries?
The expansion transforms Jupiter and its moons—Ganymede, Io, and Europa—into new battlegrounds. Each moon presents unique challenges: Ganymede's barren wasteland, Io's volcanic terrain, and Europa's icy, treacherous landscape, while Jupiter itself is notorious for its storms.
Two new factions enter the fray: the powerful Jovian Empire, aiming to dominate the region, and the chaotic Pirate Council, a loose alliance of outlaws. The expansion introduces 50 new missions with diverse objectives, including hyperspace hunting, piracy, escort missions, and train defense.
Enhance your fleet with six new ships: Raider, Goblin, Mako, Boxer, Lightning, and Skybreaker. Arm yourself with an arsenal of new weapons, such as the Hyper Velocity Mortar, Plasma Seeker, EMP Rockets, Mauler Cannon, Electron Beam, and Neutron Beam.
New Hazards, Shields, and More
The update also introduces Tier 4 shields and armor, along with new hazards like asteroid fields, elite enemy squadrons, and the formidable Pacifier. Some enemy mercenaries have been upgraded, introducing the new Nightmare, Riot, and Warhawk classes.
Adding to the immersive experience, the expansion includes 14 new music tracks and a new side missions system. Dive into the expanded universe of *Stellar Mercenaries* by checking it out on the Google Play Store, where an array of new content awaits your exploration.
