Stellar Blade is getting into the holiday spirit with a Christmas-themed update arriving December 17th! This update brings new costumes, decorations, a mini-game, and more. Let's dive into the details.

New Holiday Outfits and Customization:

Deck the halls (and Eve!) with festive attire! The update includes Christmas-themed outfits for Eve, Adam, and even the Drone. Get ready to see:

• Santa Dress (Eve)
• Rudolph Pack (Drone)
• I’m No Santa (Adam)

Eve's holiday look can be further personalized with a new Santa Girl hairstyle and accessories like Snow Crystal Glasses, Wreath Earrings, and Sleigh Ear Cuffs.

Festive Xion and a New Mini-Game:

Xion, the game's human settlement, is getting a festive makeover, adorned with warm lights and holiday colors. Eve's camp and The Last Gulp will also share in the cheer, complete with new seasonal background music ("Dawn (Winter)" and "Take me away").

A new mini-game is also part of the update! While specifics are scarce, it involves targeting a holiday-themed drone for special rewards.

Control Your Festive Fun:

A new option allows players to toggle seasonal content on or off, including the Nier:Automata DLC. This is found in the game's Settings under Gameplay, with three choices:

• Auto: Automatically enables/disables based on the season.
• Disable: Deactivates seasonal content regardless of the season.
• Enable: Activates seasonal content regardless of the season.

Note: Changing this setting requires a game restart.

Mixed Reception:

While the update has been largely well-received, with many praising the festive additions and calling Eve "Christmas Eve," some players have expressed concerns. Some question the frequency of event updates in a single-player game with a relatively short playtime (around 30 hours). The need to restart the game to fully experience the seasonal content is another point of contention.
