"Stalker 2: Guide to Obtaining the Unique Cavalier Rifle"

In *Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl*, the variety of weapons available caters to every player's preferred playstyle. Among these, you can find unique (named) variants with special modifications or enhanced power, and the Cavalier is a standout example. This special sniper rifle is equipped with a red-dot sight rather than a traditional magnification scope, making it exceptionally effective at short to medium ranges. Here's how you can acquire this distinctive weapon.

How to Get the Unique Cavalier Rifle in Stalker 2

To obtain the Cavalier Sniper Rifle, head to the Military Unit within the Duga base in *Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl*. The rifle is located inside a warehouse connected to a greenhouse. If you've previously visited the Duga base to access the Journalist stash, you'll find it easy to enter through the second entrance.

Getting Inside the Warehouse Near the Military Unit of Duga Base

Upon entering the Duga base, navigate towards the Military Unit building, which is marked on your map. You don't need to enter the building itself; instead, go around it to reach the greenhouse at the back. Be cautious, as two Pseudogiants roam this area and will attack on sight. Approach the greenhouse carefully to avoid a confrontation with these dangerous mutants.

Once inside the greenhouse, you'll find yourself in the warehouse. Be prepared for multiple swarms of rats that will spawn and start to drain your health. To escape the rats, climb onto the elevated green platforms at the back of the warehouse. Use a grenade to clear out the swarm effectively.

Break the Wooden Boards & Grab the Cavalier Rifle

After dealing with the rat swarms, look up towards the ceiling of the warehouse above the entryway that connects to the greenhouse. You'll notice wooden boards painted yellow. Use your weapon to shoot these boards, causing the Cavalier sniper rifle to drop from above.

Pick up the weapon and safely exit the Duga base. You can then take the Cavalier to Screw, the technician at Rostok base, for upgrades. The Cavalier boasts maximum damage and great accuracy, which can be further enhanced with upgrades and modifications. For players who prefer not to use a scope on their sniper rifles, the Cavalier is an excellent choice, equipped with a red-dot sight that makes it ideal for close to medium-range engagements.
