"Rune Slayer: How to Obtain a Mount"

*Rune Slayer* truly delivers an MMORPG-style adventure within *Roblox*. From “Kill 10 X” quests and crafting to dungeons and even fishing, the game covers all the essentials. But no MMORPG feels complete without a trusty mount—and *Rune Slayer* doesn’t disappoint. While obtaining a mount is fairly straightforward, the process isn’t clearly explained in-game. That’s where we come in.

Before You Get a Mount

To unlock your mount, you must first meet two simple requirements:

• Reach Level 20
• Have a tamed Pet

Leveling up to 20 typically takes around 5–6 hours of gameplay—possibly faster with friends. Just keep completing Quests, Jobs, and defeating mobs, and you’ll hit the mark in no time.

Taming a pet is also quite manageable. Eventually, you'll receive a quest that teaches you how. Here's the basic process:

1. Locate an animal you'd like to tame (such as a Deer, Wolf, or Spider)
2. Attack it once
3. Hold a food item the animal likes (Deers prefer Apples, Wolves enjoy Raw Deer Meat)
4. A Heart icon should appear above its head, indicating a taming attempt
5. If the heart fills completely, the animal will kneel and become your pet
6. If the heart turns black, the taming failed—try again with another animal

Once you’ve reached level 20 and tamed a pet, you're ready for the next step.

Complete the Mount Quest

Upon reaching level 20, visit Jimmy the Stable Master in Wayshire to begin your mount journey. He’ll give you the “Jimmy’s Delivery” quest, which involves delivering a package to Ashenshire.

Here’s how to proceed:

1. Accept the quest and exit Wayshire through the northern entrance
2. Head north through Greatwood Forest—stay on the main path to avoid tougher enemies
3. You’ll eventually reach Ashenshire, marked by large tree-top houses
4. Look for a rope to climb and interact with it to ascend
5. At the top, the first NPC you see will be Madonna the Stable Master
6. Speak with her and select “I have a package for you” to hand over the delivery

Now, return to Wayshire by retracing your steps southward. Once back, speak with Jimmy (who will now have a quest marker above his head) to complete the mission. As a reward, he’ll grant you a Saddle. Note that this item does not appear in your inventory to prevent accidental loss or sale.

How to Mount Your Pet in Rune Slayer

With your Saddle secured, follow these steps to ride your pet:

1. Summon your pet by holding the “T” key
2. Approach your pet and press “E” when prompted with the “Mount” option
