Novel Rogue Card Game Debuts on Android: KEMCO Unleashes Strategic Saga

KEMCO's latest Android release, Novel Rogue, is a captivating pixel-art fantasy JRPG and roguelite experience. This card deck-building adventure immerses players in a world brimming with magical books, strategic combat, and intriguing narratives.

Players assume the role of Wright, a young apprentice under the tutelage of Yuisil, the Witch of Portals, within the Ancient Library. Wright's journey unfolds as he delves into the stories contained within four enchanted books, each transporting him to a unique and distinct world. One book might find him assisting a princess knight in reclaiming a fallen kingdom, while another plunges him into the enigmatic mysteries of the underworld. Crucially, player choices dynamically shape these worlds, ensuring high replayability and diverse gameplay experiences.

Gameplay Mechanics:

Novel Rogue's core gameplay revolves around a turn-based card battle system that adapts to the specific book being explored. Each of the four worlds presents its own unique deck-building mechanics. After each battle, players strategically select three new cards from a presented selection, crafting a powerful and personalized deck.

Additional strategic elements include a "Change" command enabling damage redistribution among allies, and "Novel Power," which enhances decks using ink. For a more challenging experience, "Deep Record" mode significantly increases dungeon difficulty, offering high-stakes battles for seasoned players.

Relationship building is also a key component. Players collect treasures to strengthen bonds with characters, unlocking special endings upon reaching certain relationship milestones. Aesthetic customization is provided through "Witch Stones," allowing players to alter character costumes to their preferred styles.

Novel Rogue is available now on the Google Play Store as a free-to-play title. A premium version is also offered, providing 150 bonus Witch Stones and additional perks such as ad-free gameplay.
