What is Recursive Destruction?

The "Blood Moon Over the Big Apple" challenge introduces Recursive Destruction. This occurs when destroying a Dracula-influenced object, causing it to reappear in its original state. Not all objects qualify; Chrono Vision (activated via the "B" key on PC or the right D-pad button on consoles) highlights eligible destructible objects in red.

Triggering Recursive Destruction in Midtown

To complete this challenge, play Quick Match (Midtown). Initially, no red-highlighted objects will be present. Wait for the first checkpoint; two buildings will then appear, ready for Recursive Destruction. While engaging in combat, target these buildings repeatedly. You might not always see the reappearance due to the fast-paced action, but multiple hits should complete the objective. If unsuccessful, simply replay the match. After completing this, focus on subsequent challenges featuring Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman.
