PS5 New Release Date Unveiled by Botany Manor

Botany Manor's PlayStation Release Finally Blooms: January 28th Launch Confirmed

After a brief delay, the charming puzzler Botany Manor will finally sprout onto PlayStation consoles on January 28th, 2025. Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PS4 and PS5 versions were pushed back to allow for further refinement, ensuring a polished experience for players.

Developed by Balloon Studios and published by Whitethorn Games, Botany Manor captivated audiences upon its April 2024 launch on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The game's unique blend of relaxing gameplay, magical plant cultivation, and picturesque English countryside setting garnered widespread critical acclaim, solidifying its position as a top-tier puzzler of 2024.

While a PlayStation release date was initially announced, a last-minute delay prompted a revised launch date announcement on January 9th, 2025. Although the new date is set, a PS Store page remains absent, meaning pre-orders aren't yet available.

The PlayStation version is expected to maintain the $24.99 price point of its counterparts, offering a one-time purchase without microtransactions. Similar to the Switch and Xbox versions, the digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, will likely not be included in the PlayStation release.

Enriching PlayStation's Puzzle Lineup

Botany Manor's strong critical reception (an 83 average score and 92% recommendation rate on OpenCritic) speaks volumes about its quality. Its cozy atmosphere, ingenious puzzles, and immersive exploration make it a welcome addition to the PlayStation's growing library of high-quality puzzle games.

With the PlayStation release, Botany Manor will have reached all its intended platforms. While Balloon Studios' next project remains undisclosed, January 28th promises a diverse range of game releases on the PS Store, including Botany Manor, alongside Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Son of Madness.
