How to Get Pose of the Unbound Emote in FFXIV

Unleash your inner Jojo with the new Pose of the Unbound emote in Final Fantasy XIV patch 7.16! This stylish new addition requires a bit of work, but the results are well worth the effort.

Unlocking the Pose of the Unbound Emote

To obtain this coveted emote, you'll need to complete the quest "Imposing Views." Find the Unbound Agent NPC in Ul'dah – Steps of Thal (coordinates X:12.5, Y:11.5).

However, "Imposing Views" is locked behind another quest: "Picking Up the Torch." To unlock "Picking Up the Torch," you must complete all five role quests in FFXIV. This means reaching level 100 and completing the role quests for a Tank, Healer, Ranged DPS, Melee DPS, and Magical Ranged DPS job. Once you've conquered these challenges, "Picking Up the Torch" will become available, leading you to "Imposing Views."

"Imposing Views" itself is relatively straightforward. Simply visit the Sagolii Desert, interact with Apyaahi several times, overcome a few foes, and you'll receive the Pose of the Unbound emote as your reward.

Using Your New Emote

To strike your best Jojo pose, simply type /unbound or /poseoftheunbound into the chat box and press Enter.
