Pokémon Go Concludes Might and Mastery Season with Global Challenge

As the Might and Mastery season in *Pokémon GO* draws to a close, Niantic is emphasizing the power of collaboration with their upcoming Strength in Numbers Global Challenge. Taking place from May 20th to 22nd, this event encourages trainers worldwide to send as many Gifts as possible to their friends. With the ability to open up to 50 Gifts daily during the challenge period, players can expect increased rewards like Stardust, items, and friendship bonuses. More importantly, this collective effort contributes to unlocking a special reward: giftable Special Research tickets for the upcoming Community Day Classic featuring Machop.

Should the global goal be achieved before May 23rd, trainers will gain access to these Machop Special Research tickets. These tickets can be sent to any friend at Great Friends status, even if the trainer hasn’t purchased one themselves. Available through the in-game shop, each player can gift up to 20 tickets daily—plenty of opportunities to share the Fighting-type excitement.

Directly following the challenge, the Machop event kicks off on May 24th from 2 PM to 5 PM local time. Expect Machop to appear more frequently in the wild, along with the return of its Shiny form. Perfect timing for catching—or evolving—a green-glowing Machamp squad. To enhance your experience, evolve Machoke into Machamp by May 31st to receive a Payback-learned version, adding a strategic edge to this classic fighter.

With bonus Stardust, extended Incense and Lure durations, and limited Timed Research featuring boosted Shiny odds for Machop encounters, there’s plenty to explore. Get prepared by downloading *Pokémon GO* for free and visiting the Pokémon GO Web Store to stock up ahead of time.
