NieR: Automata - New Locale: Where Dented Plates Can Be Found
NieR: Automata Resource Management: Farming Dented Plates
While some resources in NieR: Automata are plentiful, the demand for materials, especially when upgrading numerous weapons, remains high. Dented Plates, a frequently needed component, can be acquired efficiently through strategic farming.
Optimal Farming Locations for Dented Plates
Dented Plates are commonly dropped by:
- Small Biped (all variants)
- Small Flyer (all variants)
- Small Sphere (all variants)
These ubiquitous enemies are prevalent throughout the game. However, simply relying on respawning enemies via fast travel isn't the most effective method.
The most efficient location is the arena where you first encounter Adam.
- Fast travel to the Desert: Housing Complex access point.
- Proceed deeper into the ruins and descend to the pit.
- Continuously eliminate the endlessly spawning machines. Small Bipeds are the most frequent enemy here, providing a consistent Dented Plate drop rate. This location also yields Titanium Alloy.
Alternative Farming Spots
For varied gameplay, the Forest Kingdom offers numerous groups of spear-wielding Bipeds. These groups typically drop at least one Dented Plate. Exploring the forest also provides opportunities to gather Beast Hide. Note that higher-level Bipeds yield a higher drop rate, so progressing through the game increases your chances.
Increasing Drop Rates
Equipping drop-rate boosting plug-in chips significantly enhances your yield. Remember to avoid death, as this results in permanent chip loss.
