Metal Gear Franchise Expands: New Title Release Target Set for 2025

Konami's developers have shared updates on the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake. Producer Noriaki Okamura confirmed the studio's top priority for 2025 is delivering a refined, high-quality game that meets fan expectations.

Okamura stated in a recent 4Gamer interview, "We are dedicating significant resources to completing Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater in 2025." He emphasized the game is currently playable from start to finish, with the remaining development time focused on polishing details and enhancing overall quality.

Previous speculation suggested a 2024 release, but according to studio sources, the launch is now scheduled for next year. The remake will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The game promises a faithful recreation of the original's core experience, enhanced with modern gameplay mechanics and stunning visuals. Beyond graphical upgrades, Okamura hinted at new features designed to elevate the gameplay experience.

Konami unveiled a captivating trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater in late September. The over two-minute video showcases dramatic scenes, including the protagonist, key antagonists, an intense airdrop sequence, and a thrilling firefight.
