Marvel Rivals Welcomes Invisible Woman and Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls

Get ready for a major update to Marvel Rivals! On January 10th at 1 AM PST, Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls arrives, bringing with it the Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman, new maps, a fresh game mode, and a revamped battle pass.

A recent gameplay video showcases Invisible Woman's strategic abilities. Her attacks combine offensive and supportive elements, harming foes while simultaneously healing allies. She boasts a knockback to control distance, invisibility for tactical maneuvers, a double jump for enhanced mobility, and a protective shield for teammates. Her ultimate ability creates an area of invisibility, disrupting ranged enemy attacks.

The update also introduces Mister Fantastic, though Human Torch and The Thing will follow in a mid-season update approximately six to seven weeks after launch. NetEase Games has confirmed that full seasons are planned to last around three months.

Another gameplay trailer highlights Mister Fantastic's unique abilities, blending Duelist and Vanguard styles with high health and stretching attacks.

While many anticipate the Fantastic Four's addition, the absence of Blade in Season 1 has been noted. Data miners have uncovered Blade's in-game model and abilities, fueling speculation. The reveal of Dracula as the main antagonist for Season 1 further heightened expectations for Blade's inclusion, but his arrival will have to wait.
