Lunar New Year Brings Legendary Kirin to Monster Hunter

Celebrate Lunar New Year in Monster Hunter Now! Niantic is hosting a special event featuring exclusive Lunar New Year gear and the return of popular items from 2024.
This limited-time event, running until February 2nd, brings back fan-favorite equipment like the Lucky Dragon Hammer, Fortune Dragon Fans, and Dragon Dance Mask. Hunters can also earn these items, along with the coveted Lucky Light Bowgun, by defeating Gold Rathian, Pink Rathian, or Banbaro. Completing these challenging hunts will reward you with event tickets.
The event also introduces a new Dragon-element Light Bowgun, perfect for tackling the fearsome Kirin, who joins the hunt in February. Boost your chances with special Lunar New Year packs, including stylish layered armor. Details on limited-time quests can be found in the official update announcement.
