LEGO Revives Simpsons Collaboration, Unveils Krusty Burger Set

Ay caramba! LEGO has officially announced the launch of a highly anticipated Simpsons-themed Krusty Burger set. This minifigure-scale creation is packed with Easter eggs and nostalgic references to the classic era of The Simpsons. Although LEGO The Simpsons: Krusty Burger isn’t available for preorder yet, it will retail for $209.99 and is targeted at the 18+ age group. General release is set for June 4, but LEGO Insiders can enjoy Early Access starting June 1—you can sign up for free here.

This marks the first Simpsons-themed LEGO set since 2018, when two small Brickheadz models of Homer Simpson and Krusty the Clown were released. Before that, LEGO Simpsons offerings included only two sets: a massive 2,523-piece model of the Simpsons house (released in 2014) and a 2,179-piece version of the Kwik-E-Mart (launched in 2015). Both of those sets have since been retired, making the Krusty Burger announcement a delightful surprise and reviving a beloved franchise thought to be dormant.

Set to debut June 1 for LEGO Insiders and June 4 for everyone else, this impressive build retails at the LEGO Store. Comprising 1,635 pieces, the Krusty Burger stands at 9 inches tall, 9.5 inches wide, and 7.5 inches deep. The exterior design draws inspiration from McDonald's, featuring iconic details such as the drive-thru menu and window. The entire structure opens and closes on a hinge, revealing meticulously crafted interiors, including a kitchen, bathroom, and dining area. Two additional buildable elements accompany the restaurant: the towering Krusty Burger sign and Homer’s Krusty-fied car from the Season Six episode "Homie the Clown."

The set includes seven minifigures: Homer Simpson, Bart Simpson, Lisa Simpson, Farmer Krusty the Clown, Sideshow Bob, the Squeaky Voiced Teen, and Officer Lou. LEGO Insiders purchasing the set from the online or brick-and-mortar LEGO Store between June 1 and June 7 will receive a special gift—a 123-piece set of The Simpsons Living Room, while supplies last.
