Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is generating a mixed reception, but pre-orders remain strong despite online criticism. Game director Daniel Vávra confirmed that pre-order numbers haven't dropped significantly, refuting claims of widespread refunds.
Warhorse Studios has also unveiled a post-launch content roadmap, shared across the game's social media platforms. This roadmap details free updates planned for Spring 2025, including a hardcore mode, a character customization feature (via a barber), and horseback racing. Furthermore, three paid DLCs will be released, one per season, bundled in a season pass.
